No fucking way do I want to work manual labor for the next 10-20+ years. No fucking way I want to work ANY job for more than like 10 years maximum. Therefore I need to get a higher paying job. Manual labor shit can pay decent but you can only make 6 figures by living in high cost of living areas and working shittons of overtime. Working MORE than the already egregious standard 40 hr week.

I got the idea from my sister who is in nursing school right now. She encouraged me to go because she says I'm better at school than her and even she is getting through it. From what I hear nursing school is a whole lot of brute memorization, something I think I can be good at. Other majors like technology and stuff that requires math and and lots of complex concepts about the most mundane shit seem impossible to me. Nursing doesn't. Nurses work 36 hrs a week and get paid for 40. Nurse anesthetists, the highest paid nurse practitioners with doctorate degrees make 150-250k for putting people to sleep.

If I go to school for nursing I will be able to avoid having a job for some years. I will be able to experience university and hold a little hope while being in the most social environment in the world instead of coming home from work everyday having seen 0 females and thinking that this is the rest of my life. I will be able to see real life females on the regular instead of being surrounded by guys all day then being tortured whenever I see females in public because my sensitivity to them is so high. I will be able to take mental snapshots of their feet in class and masturbate to that instead of relying on porn all the time. It will be great.

this. im torn between switching from pre med to nursing and a lot of shit overlaps. at my school you still need chem and all the anatomy classes on top of the core nursing classes, which are rigorous, especially clinicals. you mention crna, well, then make sure to take all the way up to biochem AND some programs require college physics...Shit is tough. You will need a high GPA and a great TEAS (if USAcel) to even gain entry to a nursing program. whereas doing stem you can get C's and skate by, nursing and any other medical shit you just can't.

Whatever helps and is the most beneficial.

dont get kicked out of college again

I would advise against this but it’s your choice. I can only hope things work out for you

le college experience = forced meme

try to save as much as u can because student loans will rape u

Good plan bro

anesthesiology is more of an art than a science, people being aware during surgery isn't uncommon.

It is dominated by foids. It will be torture for me

im so fucking tired of college because i cant get good grades, i would rather do manual labor or something instead

but male nurses are gay af

Yeah, being around mostly women especially nurses, sounds ace. Manual labor is trash but nursing as a male is worse.

No bro you will want to rope doing manual labor every day for a middle class wage at best

University and the world does not change, whatever happened during the time you were in college (your rage outbursts) is gonna happen again, cuz it is the same conditions. You need to be very careful to manage shit in a different way this time. From personal experience, if you dont take action, you are gonna stuck in the same situation again.
Please be careful and do not get into debt. Getting into debt is fucking hell, it cripples ur fucking life. I dunno how far you get into ur degree last time; but med/nursing is as demanding as engineering/science.
I really do not want to bring you down, but be careful. As depressing as it sounds, failure is always an outcome especially considering our autism.
It is kinda depressing that we are so fucking useless that we can even handle manual labor. i think it would happen the same to me if i even try any kind of physical job.
living like us is fucking nightmare. take care boyo

I have learned from past experiences. uni was literally the first time I talked to a lot of people. I also got unlucky meeting some really shitty people. It's not exactly the same situation since I won't live on campus and I won't have to go into debt at all most likely. One blessing in my cursed life. As for the difficulty, I will just have to see for myself. From everything I gather that it's difficult in way that I think I can handle and I have my sister to help me.

fuck dentists. Almost as scummy as psychiatrists

my sister during one of her clinicals talked to a senior anesthesiologist who said he always checks certain monitors to check for brain activity that suggests they are conscious

It's good to have a clear plan. Good luck with it.

it must be nice being competently intelligent. imagine being able to choose what career you want in life. lucky you!

Couldn’t imagine female doctors lording their power over you... OP, just watch out for false harassment claims from both patients and nurses. Either that or get really good at pretending to be gay.
