Media im curious about the lore of dark souls and all soulslikes

do the souls players here think they actually thought out the lore for all the souls games? ive been having this recent curiosity while researching the lore of elden ring if or whether miyazaki just puts random shit in the item descriptions and vaatividya randomly associates them to into a semi coherant lore.

the videos in specific that made me confused like this was "the lore of elden ring is rotten" and the lore video for malenia where he references the exact same items but interpret the description very differently to fit the title of the video

i've played all the fromsoft games and every chinasian souls ripoffs and elden ring is by far the best game in the genre (purely based on gameplay variability). bloodborne is my favourite and yet i have well over twice as many hours into elden ring than i do in bloodborne. the amount of viable build options in elden ring is crazy ive done so many challenge (my favourite was copying a youtuber and playing through the game as sonic the hedgehog) runs that i cannot possibly do in any other game in the genre. also not to mention the cheese potential. bloodborne has cumfuck i mean cummpfk but elden ring has far better gravity mechanics. if the game was half the size or if it had more enemy variety instead of repeating bosses and making bosses normal enemies later in the game it wouldve genuinely become miyazaki's magnum opus
