Deep down I am still afraid to cold approach women after bad experiences. In the past I have said that I cold approach, but I didn't include that I rarely do it because I am worried.

Some bad encounters include a woman slapping me, another one calling her brothers on me to kick my ass, and another one giving me the most disgusted stare I have ever seen - all because I cold approached.
