Anyone can relate? I often buy new books or read those that I bought before.
It's like lifelong addiction or something. Obviously because I don't have a life, have too much free time.

Honestly, that is a very admirable trait. I have been getting into reading more myself. The sad part about this current generation is nobody reads any more, which is kind of sad and pathetic

Maybe it's just an old medium that has no power to compete anymore

You can still download e books most of the time for free over the internet. I understand that it is inconvenient to go to a library or especially buy a physical copy. But that doesn't mean books should be discarded In their entirety. There is so much knowledge out there to acquire it's not even worth debating.

There are no facts or monoculture anymore, "knowledge" in this case is useless outside ideological circlejerks

It's amazing we are this smart yet we are treated like retards. It's as if a normie was trapped in a world filled with people with down syndrome and he Didn't know how to deal with it. That's how we feel.

What do you read?

I enjoy books. I’ve been reading Joseph Conrad lately

Some people still read but females generally aren't attracted to bookworms. Until he is attractive, of course.

What do you read?
Usually history, philosophy. Sometimes religious, techical, fiction books. I also read psychology as a source of amusement ( like bluepilled delusions ). Not saying that there are no serious books on psychology but they are very rare.
It's usually bluepilled psychobabble.

I rarely read specific philosophical works. I like to read books about philosophy in general or summarizing works.
I have a few books of modern thinker Nassim Taleb and currently reading 'Scapegoat' by Rene Girard.

As of fiction and other books. The last fictional book I bought was 'The miserable ones' by Victor Hugo and Sartre before that. But I was dissatisfied by reading Sartre. He seems to me like a second rate author not worth reading.
I don't really have a favorite books ( only books which I value more ) because my main point of reading is an extraction of info which I find interesting/valuable.
And you can find such information everywhere, even in newspapers.
