I'm 26 and I literally did not know what an IUD was until a few weeks ago

Did you know that it's common for young women to get these rods surgically implanted in their uteruses to prevent them from getting pregnant? I think something like 15% of young women have one. This is what they look like:

I don't believe it's a common thing, tbh.

yikes id get one of those straight up the dick hole with my long dong yowza

Every now and then I drop by r/twoxchromosomes to get my dose of rage fuel so Im aware of these

Some girls get them as young as 14 or 15 in order to "regulate their periods" but JFL if anyone actually believes that excuse because they then keep them in for years so their boyfriend can creampie them with no consequences while their parents think that their daughter is just a poor sick innocent girl

I’m surprised more people don’t know about these. They’re way more effective than condoms and apparently feel better because you don’t have to wear a condom. But I probably know more than most because I have a sister and I always heard my mom and her talking about it.

make it more pointy and sharp

wtf how does it work. this is advanced whoredom

All forms of contraception should be banned. That will teach women not to be sluts

B-but how will a high school freshman regulate her period if not with an IUD that lasts 10 years

all the porn vids you watch no condoms - how do you think these girls stop pregnancy. the pill fucks up women's bodies so most wear these.

The pill changes women's brain structure- for better or worse I am not sure. Plus, there are issues with environmental contamination owing to improper disposal of contraceptive drugs. So I'd say an IUD is preferable to hormonal contraceptives.

I think I heard of it once, but called a coil.

It's a bit weird yeah, lol. But I guess it won't have any hormonal side effects like the pill can.
