protection is not a sex-exclusive role, just a sex-dominant role

yeah guys are meant to do most of the fighting but historically if a pack of wolves was attacking your kids you would expect the mom to fight too

you might have the big spear but your wife would have a knife, even if she mostly used it to cut the dead meat you brought back she'd know how to use it to stab something about to eat her baby

hell even if it was just attacking you, a loyal wife would stab the wolf to defend you as well, not just leave you to get eaten and move on to the next guy as most modern foids

also if you actually watch Shield Hero it's not exactly a role switch, it's kind of hard to explain but the MC actually does a lot of the protecting (ie it's in the name, SHIELD)

Goblin Slayer is also pretty decent: a male/female team and they both back each other up. The male does the brunt of the fighting but the priestess definitely fills in her niches too



I hate how much I like it since MC is basically disguised-Chad and I probably have more in common with the goblins he kills in terms of opportunity

chad basically only gets relatable when he suffers (ie like batman) and is shaped by tragedy instead of living in privilege and becoming predatorial/unempathizing like 99% of chads irl

i have an uncle that had a girl that was so in love with him that she looked the other way every time he molested her daughter. if that's not love i don't know what is.

i have another uncle that was going to jail and she did two things
1) she fucked a police officer/guard (unsure exactly who they were. their title) in order to get into a secure building and
2) she swapped out his urine for her urine
They ended up getting caught because I think female urine shows something specific and so they obviously realized it wasn't my uncles urine and then they both went to prison for a little stint. But the point is that she went through all that to try and get him out of his sentencing. That's hardcore committment right there
