My city even now just introduced Naloxone vending machines which are completely free alongside the safe injection sites to completely enable that drug users don't die from their actions because their addiction in everyones eyes is just an "illness" so theres help available for them at any given time, alcholics gets AA meetings and plans to fix their lives because they're treated like they're "ill" also. while porn addicts like me with a very real problem have to suffer in silence with a lack of help due to alienation and resentment its just the "just stop doing that" treatment while being told its all my doing for being like this.

Acceptance and admitting to yourself you need help is the first step. Yeah sex addiction is a real thing. Sadly I did not get to fuck latina foids in Greek brothels for 10 euros. Late last year I had to admit to myself I had a serious problem that was destroying me financially and was potentially going to compromise my health (not wearing condoms a lot of times).

It's not an easy addiction to break at all, especially because jerking off and seeing whores is a very easy way to let go of your sexual energy, and actually for guys like ourselves the ONLY way.

I was considering seeing a therapist over the years for this problem but never did because I knew deep down I truly wasn't ready and it would be pointless. It was exhilarating going to shitty motels, upscale hotels, whores you've seen forever apartment, shady parts of town to get your fix. Cherry on top is that when you have nothing going on in your life, that hobby-including watching porn easily becomes your entire life in many ways
