This. I also came to this conclusion, it should be done in careful moderation. It seems many people are rediscovering this after the "muh be a beast no pain no gain" etc craze.You only feel good after lifting because your body is happy you stopped torturing yourself and survived. It feels relieved.
Same with cold showers.
I'm pro-gym generally, but only strategically applied if you really need it. You gotta realize heavy exercising and heavy sports age your body incredibly fast.
