I have been grinding coding problems to get job at jewgke and Facebook tier companies. I have already failed multiple times. this after hundreds of hours of effort. geniuses can succeed within <100 hours. while I am at 400 and far away. it will take me 1000-2000 to compete. for trucels you must work 5x as hard for 1/10th the gains ogre

This is true. If you have to work hard it means you're already behind everyone else, be it because of connections, lower IQ, anxiety or whatever. So working hard is simply not worth the trouble when you're achieving mediocre results. have like a 3 gpa after first semester of college and put in way less work than i should have, didnt show up to a lot classes and didnt even read the assigned materials. studied like an hr before the calc 3 final and got an 85%, was comprehensive kek.

maybe an age and experience thing
i took and IQ test when i was younger, in person and got like 120. its lowered since then since i rotted hard and also became blackpilled. probably around average now. i wish i was like 130+ tho so i could be smarter academically.

I think many older cels eventually look back and see all their work was insufficient. You will probably see it too, 3.0 GPA in the current economy for example isn't enough for the best paying companies unless you have very good college/internships.

Also to get to the highest levels of software money Maxxing chain, you need be good at coding problems. Nowadays tons of fuckers from highschool even middle school are grinding them. AI is also advancing and will slowly reduce the amount of new tech jobs being created as average current dev becomes more productive.

These type of brutal pills are only digested with experience, time and most importantly thru immense suffering.

In my case, I am already old. And I put in decades of effort, so much effort, tens of thousands of hours of effort for utterly shit results. When you grow older, you too will see how my post holds truths. When I was young like you, I too thought, life will get better if I put effort. I thought there was an end to the grind, the pain, the suffering, the humiliation. The real blackpill is that it never ends.
