this question is what I was asking myself when r\incels was banned, take in mind I was staring at the banhammer reddit page after trying to contact the mods repeatedly to join during private time :
what is the technical reason that got r\incels banned? global reddit implementation of the new rules or some backhanded rogue move from inceltearz?

At the end of October, reddit made changes to their rules about violent content. After this, some big news companies started to make stories asking why /r/incels haven't been banned yet. All of that pressure from the media plus IncelTears pretty much caused the downfall of the subreddit. There's some other stuff surrounding it too, but I can't remember right now.
