Damn, is it really that bad? I was in Amsterdam recently, and have heard many Russian speakers so I assumed things are well if they have money to travel.

Damn that's pretty fucking low. Still better than what the slavs in 1920-1945 were going through. I think those times still haunt us spiritually somehow..
