The very first thing the anime says about Rias is that she is rumored to come from Northern Europe and that her red hair (and presumably green eyes as well) aren't just an artistic license, Asia and Xenovia aren't Japanese, Ravel probably also looks white just like Rias since they are both pure blood devils, and so on.Coming back to the topic, DxD is honestly a case of the characters' looks making it seem better than it actually would be as a regular Joe there, which I'm assuming would be the case in this scenario. Issei is OP and friends with just about all the powerful people in the setting, so since the show is from his perspective, it looks sweet, but, at least for the supernatural beings, there's no afterlife, the power system is lottery-based and you can't really grind or learn new skills (you could try stealing them though), and the monsters are OP and have hax abilities as a rule.
Berserk would honestly be a much better place. There's an afterlife, however gloomy it might be. You can learn magic. Behelits are a lottery system but it's a lottery you choose to take a part in instead of one decided at or before your birth, and the monsters can be killed even by the weaponry of the time (cannons), along with only being bigger and stronger than humans and almost never having crazy hax (once again, in comparison to DxD, there's just about no apostle who can wipe out your friends's and families's memories after killing you, so they won't have the slightest idea of how and why you died, which is what Raynare, a low-level nobody, did right at the beginning of DxD).
After that, I'd take Overlord. It has no afterlife, but it does have resurrection magic, it's an RPG so I could grind and level up, and if I'm keeping my memories I could maybe get friendly with Ainz as another actual human there. And if I'd end up in Overlord's real world instead of the New World, I'd get to see a late-cyberpunk society transform into a soft singularity one while coping with epic, ultra-immersive games.
And if we're counting manga as well, then Reincarnation Coliseum is everything good with Overlord, but taken much further. Resurrection magic is widespread and casual while it's still unknown whether there's an afterlife or not, so it may have both, it also follows an RPG logic, and while in Overlord you have to care about what's going on and the wars and political intrigue will affect you wherever you live, In RC, all you need to stay away from the plot is to simply not fight in the Coliseum.
High School of the Dead. Chaotic world where i don't have to worry about work, the majority of people are zombies so in term of looks i would probably look better than them and my chances of getting a girlfriend are much higher since you can freely bash the head of any chad/pretty boy with a baseball bat and claim that he was infected.
As cringey as this sounds. Probably any isekai because at least you experiment with different themes (fantasy or sci-fi) or whatever settings.
