Unless you are a woman or a jew with a mind capable of living in a constant materialistic mindset of "hic et nunc" here and now and reality is basically the total amount of single materialistic moments without abstraction in past and future, you will need a trascendent finalism because this is how men think, feel, act toward stuff. No shit, if you define yourself as an atheist and don't feel in constant anguish or depression caused by thoughts about your existence you are a subhuman. I'm not saying religion is true, i'm not saying finalistic trascendence is true i'm not even saying i'm a believer (i'm a total skeptic/agnostic de facto and i'm in a state of depression/sad thought constantly bic of that) i'm just saying what i stated is 100% true without possible counterargument. Again: only way to be satisfied with your existence being non-believer is having a female mind or a jewish one.
