إذا الحرب شبت مشينا لها نخوض لظاها وأهوالها
For we are the proud, and we are its fuel, igniting its fires.
فنحن الأباة ونحن لها وقود يضرم أشعالها
We have fed the swords with its blood, ask the nation of infidels what befell them.
سقينا السيوف دماءً لها فسل أمة الكفر ما نالها
They gather their cowards for the terror, but truth has scattered their ranks.
تحشد للرّوع أنذالها وقد شتّت الحقّ أحوالها
We bring heroes to the battlefield and don the attire of war.
نقدم للساح أبطالها ونلبس للحرب سربالها
We destroy fortresses and ruins and cut with the sword their limbs.
ندك القلاع وأطلالها ونقطع بالسيف أوصالها
Horses that outpace their riders and drive out the cowards from the land.
خيول تسبق خيالها وتنفي عن الدار خذّالها
They annihilate disgrace and the vile, and rise to eliminate them.
تبيد المخازي وأرذالها وترقى النواصي لتغتالها
We rose towards eternity and marched to it, seeking the beauties and their bounties.
إلى الخلد قمنا وسرنا لها نروم الحسان وأنفالها
We yearn with longing and love to meet the noble and those who received their reward.
نتوق اشتياقاً وحباًّ لها لنلقى الكرام ومن نالها
We bought the gardens of paradise and its blessings, loved its fragrance and pure waters.
شرينا الجنان وأفضالها عشقنا شداها وسلسالها
With the unification of my Lord, we ascend towards it, and we hope for acceptance, what a delight!
بتوحيد ربّي سمونا لها ونرجو القبول فواهاً لها
