i fking hate my hairline and losing hair even tho im just NW2. but then i mean, im almost 23, and i never had any GF or experience with girls so far.

what even is the point to keep it then? sometimes i feel bad asfuck about losing hair especially so young. but even when i had great hair in my peak years, it was never good enough. i have been debating a lot about going on finasteride but atm i dont see the goal of it.

i think i have between 2 and 5 years left of having enough hair where i don't have to shave. after that its bald or hair piece.

My father is currently in his mid 50s and he has no signs of balding. I also have very thick hair so my odds of not balding are pretty good. I will do a hair transplant or take DHT inhibitors if I will be affected by hair loss.

i already have bad experience with long term drugs. before i took accutane i never had any dark circles under my eyes and i was able to wear contact lenses. after accutane, i have had dry eyes, dry scalp and skin, and dark circles for years already with no solution.

For me personally balding made me want to kill myself and was interfering with my ability to go to work every day. Now that my hair is good my confidence is much better and I'm less afraid of getting older since at least I know I won't have nw7 to look forward to.

not judging anybody. i know its an effective drug and most ppl dont get side effects, and many people have positive experiences of it.

i also know myself: in addition to being a hypochondriac i am literally very unlucky with medical things. if i tell u the shit i went through, subsequently, statistical likelihood of that happening to someone, its probably not even 1 per billion. so therefore i dont think its a good choice for me.

on top of that i honestly believe it wont change THAT much in ur life. how do i know? i gave myself a buzzcut with no guard a few weeks ago and nothing changed. women still ignore me, nobody bothers with me etc. the only thing that changed is that i actually seemed to get more respectful responses of store clerks. and looking at the fact that people have been using it for years on here but are still incels, (if they arent they are fakecels and should get out anyway) - i dont personally see the point. in the end everyone is free to do what they want and i hope the treatment is effective and safe for them. and yes i do feel less confidnet and uglier but then again nobody else seems to care so i stopped caring too

I have a bald vertex / bald spot at the back, its the size of a cookie. Started to come at age 34 (I'm 41 now). Its really awful. Stands out on me as I have dark hair with light skin (I noticed they don't seem as noticeable on blonde men with light skin). But for me everybody notices it and points it out. I've heard sniggers from strangers. Balding heavily is a signal to people that you are finished reproducing/past your prime as a man and should finally become a monk. Its seriously true.
