We'd be background NPC's doing random animations like walking across a street or doing retail work.

There are no antagonists in the game, at least for chad, chad has noone who wants to even defy him. Incels on the other hand have enemies and goons everywhere, if we approach someone, we get our asses kicked or get the police called. Foids will constantly mock you and hate you like sworn enemies. Chads may be your worst enemy, but you're like a level 1 crook to him, he has no reason to directly bother you or even give a remote shit about.

Is this not the plot of most videogames anyway, your character is the protagonist Chad who runs around doing quests and having everybody tell him how wonderful and special and important he is, these quests usually involve killing incel bad guys who are much weaker than he is and only pose a remote threat on harder difficulties and in numbers. When you are Chad life is on easy mode anyway so there is no need to turn the difficulty up, the rewards are just the same if not more so than playing life on hard mode.

Dark Souls seems like the kind of game that simulates what it is to be a low-tier normie or borderline incel/wizard/robot, you are only just more powerful than the absolute weakest enemies (hollows) but everything else, especially the Chad bosses, mogs you and fucks you into the dirt until you learn how to repetitively expend effort just to cope and move forward with your life. Unless the game could be seen as a representation of going ER (in Dark Souls).

Reality is stranger than fiction anyway, not even the scariest horror games seem to come close to the nightmare that is existing as a blackpilled non-NT sub-8 male in 2020.
