It's one of those words which has had its meaning changed in the past few years. Whenever you see this word written now, it'll almost ALWAYS be some soy, "yay everything is wonderful" reddit bullshit.

Like a while back I saw some photo of some white guy and black guy laughing together. I didn't get the point of it at all, then in the comments with like 2000 upvotes was some comment saying "Wholesome af"?! What the fuck? It's so patronizing and racist to act like every good interaction between different races is "wholesome" (fuck this word is cringy as fuck), it should just be seen as normal.

Literally the most irritating, sheltered middle-class soy shit out there.
