I meant that the french imam (who are paid at minimum wage), are very largely laiss paid than Imam in saudi arabia but more than Imam in maroco and so on. It depends probably of the cost of life of each region but also on the system by which they are employed. In moroco they are state worker, in france they are paid by the Mosque... Im sure many Imam in the world do not touch a cent.
