I think this will be a pretty deep rant, so please read.
I think part of the reason women choose to objectify themselves is because they feel they are in competition. It's all about who draws more attention to themselves, especially on social media. And the easiest way to do this is to post extremely revealing pics.
Yet, a lot of women complain that everything is too hard. "Susy gets more likes!" "I can't compete with that ass!" "She has bigger tits!" It is a common gripe of Feminists that they are in constant competition with other females. Yet, when it comes to men, these women say they are "doing it for themselves" instead of admitting they are doing it because they are in competition. These women will take tons of selfies or other pics in order to get the best ass pic, the best boobs pic, the best selfie, etc. And they do it because they want to stand out. These women put petty things like ass/boob size on a pedestal, yet get mad when men do the same.
Instead of getting mad when men call them out on this vapidity, they should join our side. Women will be less objectified when they stop treating themselves as objects. Do they really think any decent man is looking at a bunch of ass pics on Instagram and thinking "This is wife material!" Of course not. So instead of defending this vapidity that ONLY PUTS THEM IN COMPETITION, they should denounce it. They should join sensible men and revile it, hate it, downplay it. Until they stop treating themselves as objects, men won't stop seeing them as objects.
