Why is sex so prized? because it is difficult to get, and it is a competitive process to have sex with more attractive mates to feel more validation that you secured yourself someone more attractive.

I heard the argument that if everyone was beautiful, beauty wouldn't be as prized anymore. False. Beauty isn't a shifting, volatile thing, it has for a very, very long time been a scale of 1-100 of facial proportions, bone proportions, DNA technicalities for your facial development etc, and if youre beautiful, you won't suddenly be "less beautiful" when surrounded by a million beautiful people, you will simply all be "beautiful". Your sexual market value will not go down because there are a million other beautiful people, you will remain an incredibly desirable individual.

Status and money? I fail to see how that would become too difficult for some to achieve over others. The world would be a far more equal place.
