And just because someone hasn't killed themselves doesn't mean they have something to live for, most of the time the only reason those people are alive is because dying is surprisingly difficult, particularly if you live in a no guns country. The only "reason to live for" is that dying is more difficult, hence why a lot of people with nothing to live for tend towards stuff like alcoholism and drugs, which is in essence just slow suicide. Not exactly something I'd call a positive.

I mean fuck the only reason my suicide ideation went away was because I realised that if life was this bad death is probably worse. I have nothing to live for really but also no reason to die either.

Exactly, if there a was a quick and easy way that kills us in a second, then all of us wouldn’t be here. But the Society makes it hard to get a hold of things like this. They want us to kill ourselves the painful way and suffer. They will probably force us to live if we survived and got paralyzed.

People don't like it when they're challenged. Especially, if they had carried that belief, or misconception for years.

Its hard to accept some of the dark truths that lies within our society. A lot of people have to sugarcoat it, to make things seem nice, but yet its still very gloomy (or rather grim or dark) to our eyes.

Its also a part of human nature to cling onto things that are deemed as irrational, even we've been proven wrong. This is the problem with most blue pilled folks.
