The thing is I dont think the drawers go out of their way to draw them specifically attractive unless thats what the story is about. If you can look past that it's a great cope in my opinion. Maybe just focus less on the looks of the characters and rather on the action, storytelling, character development etc.

I do agree it's mass produced slop but what isn't slop nowadays? Most media is slop. It's just another cope.
