I've had genuinely nice female friends before I moved, and they never used me for anything or asked me for anything at all. I never gave anything to them at all either. It was just a mutual friendship. I honestly remember that being one of my only positive experiences I've had with women, but yet again, that was just a 1% outlier, women have dealt a LOT of bullshit to me for the past 19 years of my life.

In theory, yes I wouldn't mind this. My experienced reality is that at best women will use me as the driving force in group projects while they are probably fucking their boyfriends.
This also can't be understated, remove their sexual value and I can count on one hand the amount of women I've interacted with who I thought had more than one brain cell. So if a hypothetical woman who was capable of holding a decent conversation was nice to me then yes I would befriend them.
If she is acting like that, then I have a good amount of suspicion to not engage with her. The chance is too big that she is trying to get something out of me.
