Serious If a female does talk to you in class, do you say hi to them next time?

I ended up having a conversation with a 5.5/10 female in one of my classes; then we walked out of the building together talking and I purposely went the direction opposite from where she was going (even though I needed to keep walking towards where she was going) so that the conversation could end because I was getting super nervous. I'm kinda freaking out if whether or not I should say "hi" to her next time, or have her say it to me instead.

She did end up saying something super strange when we spoke in class, she initiated the convo by saying "I knew I was on the right floor for class because I saw you coming", even though she was sitting right outside of the class room with another classmate (not to mention its already 2 months into the semester). She also abruptly said to her friend during our convo, "why is everybody getting engaged?" and then mentioned her ex. Her friend was confused and asked "is everybody getting engaged?".

I don't wanna be one of her cuck orbiters and when I checked her IG, it seems like she's had a lot of BFs in the past and always ends with a "broken heart". I don't want to be a dick but right now, I don't feel like interacting with new people because I've been extra high inhib. I also did see a pic of her past BF and he absolutely mogs me into oblivion so I'm not sure what she wants from me.
