Did anyone else find it disappointing that in half-life 2 you can’t “explode” corpses with your crowbar like you could in half-life?? Like in half-life you crouch and hit any corpse enough times holding down button and eventually it explodes and it’s so satisfying I literally do it to every thing I kill. Kinda a dumb thing to complain about I guess but the corpse just flopping around when you hit in half-life 2 just doesn’t hit the spot :/

Well, they went for realism more in Hl2 and semi-realistic gore system combined with ragdolls could prove to be too laggy back then. Still, HL2 had very weak gore, even blood decals looked quite weak and somehow there is no mod that would add some brutal gore

Speaking of Half Life 2 and mods, you should all try combination of mmod and Half Life: Update (mmod has support for it), I have a quality coping time by replaying HL2 and episodes on mmod
