Yes, the West has its woes with degeneracy, but in a way I don't want to feel trapped, and there's a freeing essence or element I feel when I'm living in the West.

My parents migrated from the Horn of Africa (Ethiopia/Somalia/Eritrea) to the West in order to have a better life. I was also luckily born in the West.

I know this sounds rude, if people don't like it, I guess why not move to the Middle East or Africa?
