Yes I agree. There is desire for immigration restrictions but no desire for purist ethnostate Aryan utopia. Americans have become tolerant of seeing other races in their vicinity with some even preferring diversity over purity and homogeneity.
I mean, I believe in democracy, and that the people should get what they vote for. Democrats are clearly advocating that borders shouldn't exist. If people want to vote for that then sure, whatever. The consequences for that are bad but people are allowed to vote for retarded things.
What I'm not a fan of is democrats pretending that they are for the working class all the while importing millions (often illegal) workers so that the common working class person has harder time finding jobs, has harder time paying rent in areas (as the demand for housing increases), has to pay more taxes to cover the social services that these people need, etc etc etc.
Just lay the cards on the table. If people vote for bad policies for Americans, then so be it.

This happened in 2017 during Unite the Right rally when a right wing guy drove his car into a crowd of protestors, martyring many. This sort of martyrdom galvanize opposition and only strengthens left wing movements instead of crushing them; look what's happening now with all of these heavy protests after the killing of Alex Pretti.
Yeah Democrats overplayed their hand in trying to solidify their claim over political power through open border policy and it backfired, but now that the border is closed and illegal migrants are incentivized to leave, people also don't want the heavy handed tactics of ICE and Trump.
