Recently I finally managed to make an alternative account at work since we use a VPN and I had gone to a gaming subreddit to ask a technical question. (It was about modload orders and other technical shit) Nobody was able to help. This isn't the only time this happened: I often joke about how Reddit is entirely useless now.
Which made me think, given that my main account was permabanned and I've been IP banned from making new ones at home. I was banned years ago because I told some troon mod "I don't think you've shown an ounce of empathy in your entire pathetic life" and I was banned for "harassment". Do you think that over the years of flimsy ban reasons and the reputation of Reddit now being what it is, that many of the smarter and more knowledgeable users in certain fields have left or been banned for petty reasons? Making support servers almost entirely worthless now?
