I opened my eyes and immediately thought "ahhh i just got a solid 8 hours of sleep I feel really well rested. Today's gonna be a good day"

I got my clothes ready, took a nice cold shower, brushed my teeth and was feeling great walking out to my car.

I didnt even care that I had to go into work early on a monday, I was feeling high on life

I sat there while my car warmed up and came crashing back down to earth. The emptiness I feel every day returned, the feeling of joy, contentment and hope just slipped through my hands like sand and I just sat there empty inside again wondering what I ever did to deserve this.
