The author certainly didn't care about realism when the MC just decided to start getting better and found a job pretty much immediately, as if finding a job IRL was that easy.

I would've loved if there was a series which would hammer down the fact that, just because you really try and give it your all, it doesn't mean that you will get anything. Would've been a perfect concept for a regression show where the MC dies from cold and not having gotten enough food in a shitty apartment after genuinely trying his best to get his life together, in his dying moments wishes he spent more time playing video games, watching porn and overall just having fun since he was doomed anyway, then gets reset a couple of months back and gets a second chance to actually enjoy life.
