Venting I Wish I Was Bilingual

The fact many -if not most- users here are bilingual is pretty cool to me honestly

Just being able to simultaneously switch from one language to another is pretty interesting imo, though I'm likely only saying that due to my inability to do such.

I think it would be pretty cool to be able to speak another commonly-used language(such as German or French or Chinese) but then also one which is more regionally confined, such as Serbo-Croat or even a "dead language" such as Latin or Pre-Norman English.

The key is to live with tat language as much as possible. Talk in forums used by natives of the language you wish to learn, try to put some of your games in said language so you will force yourself into finding the translation to words. It's easier than said because English is kind of the basic choice in every media, at least everything can be put in english. Most resources you seek like good tutorials about software will be in English. so most people learned english because they had to in order to enjoy a game/a serie/learn something/whatever.

You don't miss that much not talking any other language, maybe if you really wish to live in another country or just for the fun of it.

I would say start with learning german since it's almost similar to english.
