Childhood friends are invaluable

I can’t believe I was so fucking stupid as a teen, I thought it didn’t matter if I had no friends in secondary school because I could just make them when I got to college
Once you reached 19 and have no friends it’s over, not only did you miss out on making your lifelong friends, you’ve missed out on acquiring the social skills and experience necessary to make new ones. I have no fucking idea how to make friends, other than being friendly to people at work or college (which are cancelled now anyway because of corona) and that never gets me anywhere. People can tell I’m different.
