I played electric guitar for a few years when i was younger. i was so ass at it though like beginner level althought i've practiced for over 2 years.
It just wasn't for me, but forced myself to it.

If you have a genuine interest in something you will quit it, only to pick it back up again, then quit again and then pick it back up yet again. Over and over. Once you are truly deep into an interest you won't even care if you are bad at it or not.
