its cool to daydream but the sands of time are always passing by. Cant change a damn thing and while at a glance it seems stinging and unfair, but however I take solace in it. Our choices we make are inevitably final and that finality is one of my greatest comforts. When everything we do in life is surrounded by variables and life isn't black and white, but gray, when life lays down the law it feels good.
No matter how smart we get, no matter how far we advance I find peace knowing we all end up the same. Life bosses up on every single sanctimonious politician, every disingenuous sycophant, every perfect model citizen. We all get to be forced through time without any halting it. We are all powerless in this its truly awesome, in a magnificent sense.

I’ve never felt particularly nostalgic of the past, nor regretful. I don’t wish I could change things because who I am now is who I’ve always been.
I wish circumstances would’ve been more in my favor, or that my environment would’ve been more forgiving, but if I were to wish to go back in time, I would wish to be a different person altogether.
