An average behaviour or mindset can be seen in a particular group, when you see a person from that group, there is a very high chance that that person will have a particular belief or mindset or perspective in life. Yeah there are exceptions but exceptions are very rare so there is still an almost certain chance that the person in that group will display a particular behsviour or be a particular kind of person so why don't you generalize?
