i went to a dance course (they offer classic dances, ballet and hiphop) to do classic dances. i never danced, so i asked the instructor, if i can watch for a while before joining. after some time during partner change, the instructor came to me and asked me to join. i said yes. he made the come here winking gesture, i stood up and went to him. with his other hand he pointed to a chubby 4/10 foid, who i think is already more advanced. at least the instructor knows her better. he made us come to him and said, how about you team up. she looked at me, looked at him and said no. im pretty sure i looked like shit in this moment. im used to this but in this moment i was struggling to hold back tears. the instructor was visibly embarassed and started to laugh it away, saying something, but i didnt listen. i said it's alright, i'd prefer to keep watching. i sat down, waited till the instructor focused on the other participants, then i left.
