So today I was fixing the router because its not assigning proper ips to the devices it connects to and causes connections without Internet. So while fixing it, the head director of the company was standing by my side while I discussed what we should do.
Anyways, the router in the beginning was set a long time and he forgot the password so we reset the router and we were able to get the password. But the problem was that, the gateway for the Internet wasn't set properly on some devices and ips weren't set properly basically a problem with the DHCP client. Since the server provides static ips and not dynamic ones.
Anyways to diagnose the problem with the router, we have to visit the routers ip on a Web browser most routers ip is 192.168.1.1 , so when I told the head director that, he said let's search it on my phone, I go on joogle chrome and I press new tab and for a split second, this forum is infront of him, anyways I change nonchalantly and act as if nothing happened and I go about my work.
If anyone interested, yes we fixed the router connection by manually setting ips currently until we can access the server and update the dhcp client or something else. But currently the server has many problems and is too slow. We are troubleshooting it
