Sorry to disappoint you, but retro game isnt really niche anymore. You can go take a look at the download numbers of ROM websites, there are hundreds of thousands of people playing old games and i also remember many YouTubers playing old games in their streams/videos

Controller is a must when you emulate consoles, otherwise its legit unplayable
