You may use any guides on the internet that look good to you, I liked the posts on this page a lot, even though many of them are LARPy as fuck. No idea if you believe that there is really some separate consciousness evolving in your head, if you want to believe in it then do so, it's the best way of coping with Tulpa. After all, what happens inside your head is up to you and not someone else to judge.

Also you don't need to follow every step in Tulpa guides 100%. Unless you're a mentally ill schizo, nothing negative will happen like that creepypasta about this MLP psycho Tulpa you have may read. From a rational viewpoint I'd say tulpaforcing is a form of advanced daydreaming and worldbuilding.

From everything I have read from serious posters on similar sites and forums the switching doesn't happen unless you have severe mentall illness, I never saw this related to Tulpas anway.

If you daydream about your waifu, then this is what having a Tulpa is most of the time. It just becomes more detailed but she (let's be honest, we all know what kind of Tulpa we'd create ) seldom acts on her own and I'd say I went pretty far into it for at least half a year.
