Serious I tried to explore a drainage tunnel at night

It was a few hours ago at 9:00 pm

I was thinking about it during work and I went afterwards to the tunnel and had a shitty flashlight and pocket knife

Anyway I get around maybe ten feet into the tunnel and I swear I heard someone working around near the entrance, I decided I didn’t want to get trapped so I left quickly. Didn’t see anyone but I wasn’t sticking around anyway

there’s nothing to do in this boring state west Texas is just hot and dry northern Texas has nothing interesting just boring flat and hot land central Texas is hot as shit with mosquitoes same with Houston but more swampy which I hate swamp climate

Southern Texas is just San Antonio 2.0 but there’s a beach that everyone in this fucking state likes going to since it’s the only beach that doesn’t have black water

this is by far the most overrated state in the country, and yes i'm including California

That place is also a shithole but outside cities it's at least beautiful- Texas has nothing going for it other than people who've made being from Texas their entire personality
