It's also peer pressure tbh. You can say that you don't care if a woman that happens to be the same race as you is with some other guy and publicly flaunting it, but other people will deny it and claim you are coping. Eventually as they keep denying that you are being truthful when you say you aren't really bothered, it breaks you and the idea of people questioning you like this becomes associated with the situation of seeing a woman of your own race with a man of another race.
It then becomes a self fulfilling prophesy that you get jealous at the sight of a woman of the same race as you with another man of a different race.

I've seen this happen to sexhavers too, especially with the case of Alexander Ohanian (white guy) marrying Serena Willaims (black woman) and black guys (who may or may not be in relationships) expressing jealousy and feelings of inadequacy. If there weren't jokes and social stigma about it maybe it would be less. People are very susceptible to not being seen as missing out even if the situation is simply of a woman that is with another man of a different race existing in the vicinity.
It's the feeling of people mocking you when this happens that compounds the issue tbh.
