As a young Wizard this sort of thing probably depressed me.
Yet as an older Wizard I’ve come to understand not all things are as they seem.
For example youngcels see an image like this and view it in only one way ie that of the successful loving relationship that they will never have but oldcels or just older, wiser and more mature Wizards see something like this and weigh all the possibilities.
Yes it very well may be what youngcels automatically think that it is but it could also be a cuck moment of weakness on display ie she may of just got done being plowed by one of this Chad’s hated rivals or an entire football team’s worth of guys and he may of read her the riot act and called her every name in the book over it/the betrayal and said that he was breaking up with her.
Though that solution well may of been stopped in it’s tracks by her turning on the water works ie crying her eyes out and blubbering that she’ll never do it again etc she just had a moment of weakness etc and she deserves another chance blah blah blah...and he being a weak soy soaked simp of a Chad that’s still in love with her in spite of it all agrees to meet up with her for a reconciliation of sorts hence the hug we see here or more to the point it’s a valid possibility of the kind of hug we’re seeing here which isn’t one steeped in love and tender affection after all as the love starved angry youngcels of the world assume but rather one steeped in manipulation, weakness and ultimately betrayal.
Anyway this idea is just as valid as the youngcels assumption and so it’s not simply a cope although it certainly can be used as one.
