This scene here speaks to me. This scene feels like, to me, that it's about real motivation in life.
I'm not really motivated to do much of anything. Like George, there's a lot I don't have. But I don't really care to remedy that. I know my life isn't in great shape on paper, but anything I could do to self-improve, I could take or leave. I'm not "excited" about things like other people are. Other people are just dying to go do certain things and are beating themselves up when they can't do a thing. Me? I don't have much, and I'm not motivated to go out and get much. Is this serenity or depression?
