I'm watching a playthrough of the game "Still Wakes The Deep" because it looked Lovecraftian.

Anywho, there is a sequence of events in it that if I'm understanding it correctly - and I hope I am! - is... possibly the best example of irony I've ever heard.

He beat up a guy because he was slagging off his wife and now she wants to divorce him because he's going to jail for beating him up.

Wow. I love that so much. lol

Irony is when you go to gymaxx to be worshipped by foids but only dudes are the ones giving compliments.

Brutal. Very realistic foid thing to do.

Have you read any of his works. I enjoyed ''At the Mountains of Madness''

I actually haven't interacted much with his actual works >.<

Maybe that's mainly because I don't really read much.

I've mostly just experienced some things that were inspired by them, like The Mist. For some reason I don't think there have been many direct adaptations of his work into movies or games that have been especially good? Or am I wrong?

lol v true

It is as realistic as it is ironic, women do not understand fidelity, they are traitors, cowards and selfish, they only operate for their own benefit. That is why they do not deserve to be defended when they are in trouble.

I think you are right. There was going to be a movie adaptation for ''At the Mountains of Madness'' but I think it got scrapped.
