Why I have to be a devils advocate, but well if you look at relationships from woman perspective:
- to hookup with someone all he has to be is somewhat attractive
- but to marry him: he must have multitude of other traits like having job or maybe even career, having acceptable character, being liked by her friends and family, having his own friends, maybe some hobby too, and looks is still there but not as important.
So looking from that womans perspective: husband has to have more good traits than fuckboy.
And to be honest, I dont see a flaw in this logic, its 100% reasonable, its just the case that most men would prefer to be fuckboys instead providers (and rightfully so).
