In fact, a dog is probably more intelligent. Dropped In the wild, A dog would have a better chance of survival than a foid who would know nothing on how to survive.
Foids have always been the Anchor to Man. Men have had to do everything by themselves while their foids just sit and watch. From dragging us out of the stone age, through the industrial revolution and now through the Tech Revolution women have done nothing but sit on their asses and watch men create things.
It's too bad as well, imagine if we had mates like Lions and their lionesses. We would have interstellar travel down packed by now.

Foids brains are 15% smaller than mens brains, so they quite literally are at least 15% less sentient, 15% less intelligent, 15% less crestive etc. That fact alone explains a lot.
