I had a pretty decent education which meant I was forced to read a bunch of stuff that only later in life I would come to appreciate. I'm still not a fan of poetry in general but one piece that I think is wonderful is The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock. These lines grabbed me the first time I read them and always stuck with me.

I should have been a pair of ragged claws Scuttling across the floors of silent seas. (God, if I could write something like that I would die happy.)

The whole poem is great.

An animation with audio. Maybe not the best but some may prefer this kind of format:
