Meanwhile I’ve been rotting for 2 years straight because my parents confiscated my video game console. This is a recurring pattern in my life, absurd laziness due to having nothing to look forward to.

Cultures that punish these activities are often violent, brutish or lazy (excessive drug usage) due to incel men having nothing to do.

Civilisation is inherently based around slavery and unbearable unless you have access to some form of drugs to dull yourself from the pain. Let me tell you this. Without some harmless dopamine hit, men in modern society are left to stew in boredom and frustration, which almost always turns into aggression or self-destruction. The problem is that society has stripped men of meaning; God has been effectively killed, and romantic relationships and family are an impossibility for many men, hence you are left with nothing, and for many, escapism is the only thing that offers solace. I suppose it's also problematic because it sedates men, which essentially makes any possibility for change far more unlikely.

In a healthy life, games wouldn't really be a major part, but unfortunately, that is unfeasible for many because of the state of society.
