I remember playing Just Cause 2 on my xbox 360 and loving it

I remember when I randomly found a gameplay of this game on youtube in late 2012/early 2013 and dunno why I thought to myself "yeah this game looks cool too bad it's a ps3 exclusive" but then saw it was also for the 360 kek. So I pirated it and I remember playing it so much, the game was a lot of fun with the grappling hook to climb buildings or steal vehicles, blowing up shit or just exploring the huge map which was a bit empty (game made in 2010 so it's understandable) but was beautiful with snowy mountain, desert, tropical jungle and big city in the same map. The game had a ton of side content and missions so it was very long to complete and compensated that the main story was short, still I enjoyed the game mostly for the free roam and causing chaos rather than the story missions. The plot is stupid and the voice acting is equally bad but who cares about that in this kind of games. Too bad Just Cause 3 and 4 were bad.

My favorite thing to do was steal the military jets or helicopters and blow infrastructure up or get the APC and shoot every car on sight Or the missions about capturing enemy bases where also fun.

I never played it for some reason. Did you play Saints Row 2? I loved that game, best in the series for sure, later it become an clown game. It was my favorite game for mayhem.

Never played Saints Row 2 but I liked Saints Row 3. Saints Row 4 was too stupid and silly with the superpowers and aliens so I didn't play it. I want to try Saints Row 2 but the PC port is so bad it's still broken more than 10 years later.

Same. Just Cause games are cool. They're like wilder versions of GTA.

It was a very good alternative to GTA.
