Story I remember in 12th grade some autistic ricecel got made fun of

I was sitting outside at lunch and a group of 11th graders consisting of chads and stacys were sitting together and while they were friendly to me, some autistic ricecel was nearby and I remember they were talking to him and made fun of him in a way where they pretended to be friendly. One of the cheerleader stacys said “hey Sean you wanna go to homecoming with me?”. She ended up going with some chad of course. Sean barely responded and had trouble communicating.

I remember another time at some football game some guys were telling him “hey there’s something over there I saw that you need to see”

he was autistic, had trouble with social skills and was a sub4 ricecel

I didn't know what Autism was when I was at school. But I remember there was this one kid in a lower year who seemed to walk around talking to himself and he had all the buses and bus timetables memorised. Kids used to go upto him and ask him which bus was arriving when etc in a mocking way. Kids are brutal, but most of the bullying I experienced came from my friends. Like with relationships, it's the ones closest to you who do the real damage. Unless you're at a rough school where legit bullies exist, who beat you up take your lunch money. So that's maybe one advantage of being Autistic and having no friends.

My high school was full of incels, it was one of those rice/curry competitive high schools. A lot of people did show up for the pep rallies though(because they had nothing better to do).
But I would imagine things are much different in a typical suburban white/latino high school.
